Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking

Along the beach with the Lord.

Many scenes from my life flashed

Across the sky. In each scene I

Noticed footprints in the sand.

Sometimes there were two sets of

Footprints, other times there was one

Only. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat,

I could see only one set of footprints,

So I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,

That if I followed you, you would walk

With me always. But I have noticed that during the most of trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand.

Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,

“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints,

My child, is when I carried you.”

Amen

"Applying The Modern Day 10 Commandments to Everyday Life: A Practical Guide

1. I am the breath, I am your will, I’m love. Seek only me.

2. I am your spiritual love. There is no other love but me.

3. The name given to me by your love and respect. Keep it sacred with every breath you take.

4. Take a moment to reflect each day. A moment to breath. Reflect God’s love in yourself. Treat each day as if its the Sabbath day.

5. Respect your Mom and Dad. The spirit of love they show you is the spirit of love I gave them onto you.

6. All life is precious, treasure yours and others as if it’s your own.

7. Cherish each other. Communicate your love and faith in each other daily. Through hard times and great times. Support each others needs and emotional desires.

8. If it’s not yours, do not take.

9. Do not lie to hurt others. Lying hurts a human spirit, keep it pure and your conscious shall be free of sin.

10. Do not be jealous of each others personal materialistic rewards.
